It is not recommended to AFK (away from keyboard) during Twitch Drops events as it goes against the terms of service for both Twitch and the game in question. Twitch Drops are meant to reward active viewers who are engaged with the stream, and many games have rules in place to prevent AFK farming of Drops.
Furthermore, some Twitch Drops events may require viewers to complete certain in-game objectives or participate in specific activities in order to earn Drops. If you're AFK, you may miss out on these objectives and not be eligible for Drops. It's always best to watch Twitch streams actively and engage with the content to increase your chances of receiving Drops. If you need to step away from the stream, it's better to pause or stop the stream rather than leave it running while you're not actively watching.
But there really isn't anything that stops you from going AFK on stream watching in order to gain the time required to unlock the drop. There is also 3rd party chrome extension that will automatically claim the drops which you can find at following URL: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/automatic-twitch-drops-mo/kfhgpagdjjoieckminnmigmpeclkdmjm
If you plan on using 3rd party chrome extensions you do that at your own risk, we are not responsible for any issues that may occur.
